Royal Gala

Royal Gala apples have a bold, red striped appearance over a creamy yellow background. They are crisp, with a subtle, sweet taste and firm white flesh. This apple contains reasonable amounts of fibre and vitamins A, B1, B2, C and E, minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, iron and potassium.

Golden Delicious

Golden apple water content and vitamin C makes it a good food for children, because in addition to feed, is an excellent hydrator. It is easy to digest and it is advisable to consume it with the natural skin to make better use of all vitamins.

Fuji

Fuji ranges in colour from reddish stripes to a slight pink to red blush over a yellow background. It has an exceptionally sweet flavour with a crisp, creamy white flesh. They contain between 9-11% sugars by weight and have a dense flesh that is sweeter and crispier than many other apple varieties.

Red Delicious

Red Delicious apples range from deep red to bright red in colour and have a distinctive elongated, heart-shaped appearance. Their flavour is mild and sweet with very low acidity.

Packaging

Apples are shipped in corrugated containers made of recycled materials or reusable crates.

Tray packs come in 12.5 kg, 18.25 kg and 20 kg

Palletized 18.25 kg net/ carton, 56 cartons per pallet and stowed with 21 pallets to give a total standard load of 1,176 cartons per 40″ reefer containers. And 49 cartons on standard pallet.

Using an 18.25 kg carton, apples are packed to the following standard fruit size

Palletized 20kg net/ carton, 49 cartons per pallet and stowed with 21 pallets, gives a total load of 1,029 cartons per 40′ reefer high cube container.
